Forthcoming IPFire update (because of OpenSSL security defects)
by Michael Tremer, August 5, 2014

We are going to release an other IPFire Core Update this week. This is just a short notification to let you know this some time ahead. The reason for this update are some security fixes in the OpenSSL library which are all of “moderate” severity (according to the OpenSSL developers).

The OpenSSL update will be released in the late evening this Wednesday. We will take some time to compile that and reupload and distribute the images so that we are targeting to get the release out until Friday. We would be happy if you want to support us testing the beta release.
